Our Core Values
Putting others first, helping to build others up rather than solely focusing on accolades for oneself
Caring for others while always giving; sharing your knowledge, resources, and the best you have to offer
Beyond real estate services; giving back to the world, country, and our community through non-profit support
Being self-motivated to stay on task and get the job done. We arrive early and never quit; complete daily tasks that are essential to our client’s success.
We always put the needs and goals of the client above anything else. Regardless of if it means getting paid ZERO. Being prepared to jump on a grenade for clients if needed
No matter what your client says or feels, you must put yourself in their shoes. Feel what it’s like to sell your home or buy for the first time.
Self-driven, when we see something that needs to be done, we do it; constantly push ourselves forward and do what needs to be done to succeed; anticipate the path and contribute accordingly without needing to be carried.
Building Positive, Fun Relationships
We work to build positive and fun relationships. Quality, positive relationships are what successful businesses and successful people thrive on. Consistently making efforts to build strong relationships with everyone we encounter creates strong bonds and friendships, ultimately creating lifetime customers loyal to the brand. We can lose a customer, but we can NEVER lose a friend.

A Veteran and Realtor Dedicated to Serving His Community
Adam Martinez is the broker and co-founder of Romeo Echo Real Estate. Throughout his 15-year career, he has helped hundreds of families in Ventura County and Los Angeles County with their real estate needs. Adam’s seven-year service in the United States Marine Corps has shaped his professional approach. The values of teamwork, trust, and service to others are guiding principles that formed the Core Values at Romeo Echo.
Especially important to Adam is being able to lend his expertise and knowledge to fellow veterans and first responders and helping them to secure the home of their dreams. He recognizes real estate is about more than property. It is about improving people’s lives for the better. His own difficulty in navigating the complex rules related to veteran homeownership and benefits influenced his decision to become a broker. For this reason, he goes above and beyond for clients to make sure they are informed and have the best advice possible.
Adam was born and raised in Ventura County. His seven years as a Marine saw him serve abroad in Iraq, Kuwait, and Japan. He continues to be involved in veteran-focused projects close to his heart including Merging Vets and Players, Veterans of Foreign War, and the Marine Corp League. He is also a co-founder of Operation Jump 22, a non-profit helping to put an end to veteran suicide.
Currently, Adam, along with his wife and three children, calls Thousand Oaks home. Outside of professional pursuits he enjoys fitness, reading, and finding new ways to serve others.
Roland comes from a background serving 15 years in the United States Marine Corps as an Infantryman. Throughout his career, he has participated in humanitarian operations in Haiti in support of Operation Unified Response and fought in Iraq and Afghanistan in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. Roland finished his military career as a Station Commander at Recruiting Station Los Angeles, Marine Corps Recruiting Command. Upon retiring, he immediately transitioned into Real Estate where he found a huge need for exceptional service to those who have served. Through his journey he built Romeo Echo, a real estate company dedicated to serving those who have served. Roland discovered another passion in helping put an end to veteran suicide. In 2018, he created Operation Jump 22, a non-profit corporation spearheading the fight to prevent veteran suicide through skydiving. Roland and his wife Michelle live in Valencia, California where they are raising their two children.
After serving six years in the Marine Corps, I turned my love of helping others into a new real estate career. In fact, my interest in real estate started in 2009 as I had to watch from afar as my family became a victim of the market crash that devastated so many Californians. That experience lit the fire in me to learn everything I could about the housing market. Once I finished my military obligation, I quickly turned my attention to obtaining my real estate license. Soon after that, I started working with Romeo Echo as an agent and advisor. I particularly love this company because of its dedication to helping people find the best homes possible, regardless of their background or life circumstances. Here, I’m part of a mission to make life better for you, our highly-valued customers.
I specialize in assisting military service members and fellow Veterans using their VA benefits. However, I gladly extend the exact same high level of customer service to anyone who needs assistance finding or selling a property!
If you’re in the market to buy, my goal is to ensure you have information on the most up-to-date listings for the areas you’re searching in. I’ll show you the homes, help you understand the pros and cons of every property we look at, and offer my best professional advice as we move through the process. I’ll be at your side every step of the way, advocating for you when you’re ready to make an offer and as we work toward closing the deal.
If you’re selling a home, I can help you get things ready and listed so that it will sell for the best possible price in the least amount of time. The entire process will run smoothly and efficiently, and I’ll be right there to make sure every “i” is dotted and every “t” is crossed.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to call or email me anytime. It’s my honor to serve all your real estate needs!
Helping clients buy and sell real estate in this ever-changing industry can be a challenge. That’s why I love my job!
As a 101st Airborne Army Veteran, I thrive on working with customers to overcome any obstacles they might be facing. In fact, joining Romeo Echo has been a dream come true for me because it allows me to take care of people every day, working with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds — including Active Duty military service members and fellow Veterans.
I’m sincerely passionate about serving the needs of others, especially in this tough economic era of uncertainty. You’re never alone when I’m your realtor! If you’re ready to start searching for your dream home or want to sell your current property, it’ll be my honor to put my skills to work and guide you through every step of the process.
I’m committed to providing all my clients with the absolute best customer service possible while working towards optimal outcomes in whatever real estate transactions you need to make. Together we’ll accomplish the mission and get things done right. That’s my promise to you!

Captain I, Carlos L. Avina
Fire Station 107
I was raised in the San Fernando Valley spending most of my time in Canoga Park and Chatsworth. I come from a large family of 12; including 6 boys and 6 girls and learned what it is to sacrifice by watching my parents as they worked hard and appreciated all the small things in life. My family comes from Leon Guanajuato Mexico. I now reside in Thousand Oaks with his wife of 32 years, Sandy, and their four children Nicholas, Christopher, Jason and Brittany.
As a child, I was always drawn to what was behind the yellow “caution” tape. I would always stop and help people when they were in need. When I was eighteen I witnessed an accident on my way to work. Without any training, I stopped to help the victims who were trapped inside their car. It felt like only minutes had gone by when the Fire Dept. arrived. With few words said, members of the Fire Dept. went into action to free the patient. From that moment on, I knew what I wanted in life.
I was appointed to the Los Angeles Fire Department on 03/15/1990. I was assigned to several assignments throughout the city of Los Angeles including South Los Angeles, Downtown L.A., Hollywood, and Van Nuys. I have been involved in the Disaster Preparedness Unit where I trained many members of the community on how to survive a disaster. I helped with translating the Dept.’s Disaster Preparedness Booklet from English to Spanish. Throughout my years in the Fire Dept. I have gone to hundreds of structure fires, hazmat incidents, traffic accidents and medical emergency calls. I have been through the city disturbance, brush fires, earthquakes, El Nino, and I have helped save the lives of many people that were close to death. The greatest joy that comes to mind is when I helped bring a new life into the world.
I have given myself and my time working in the Boy Scout Program, coached my kids’ soccer teams, and helped with my church’s disaster preparedness program.
I continue to strive to better myself, as a husband, father, and as Captain in the Los Angeles City Fire Dept.
I have been a real estate agent for 5 years.
